Sometimes fascism just lands in your lap, whether you want it to or not.
And sometimes you need to get your vision to be SMALLER. As intensives we tend to make our vision BIG, which is great until we get overwhelmed.
Leadership over here at Institute HQ met this morning and made a list of fifteen things that we (and you) might be able to do–even in fear, even in grief–to make something better and also feel good.
Without further ado, here they are. Let us go forward and make this day a little tiny bit better.
1. give someone $5
2. bake cookies and share them
3. offer to help someone with their passport
4. rake someone’s leaves
5. offer to help with PoA
6. give and receive hugs
7. find a good power ballad and share it with someone
8. wash at least three spoons
9. share art
10. make terrible art that expresses your feelings
11. wear your coziest favorite top
12. take meds/remind others to take meds
13. make a cup of tea and remember it after it’s steeped
14. listen
15. go for a walk or roll and take at least 1 picture
